If anyone remembers Gene Quick that had the shop in Haltom City,Tx about ten years ago I was posting this to pass along the news of his death in a single car accident last week in Oklahoma.
Gene enjoyed the time spent racing with the Texas Outsiders and remained a staunch proponent of NSS racing in general. He considered it to be one of the most rewarding types of racing in his career enjoying both the competition and the camaraderie.
Hopefully many will have fond memories of his humor and antics and have some good stories to tell while bench racing and for some that may have had a negative experience maybe this news will bring some closure and peace this season.
