Is there a roster somewhere of who got the 55 Factory Super Stock Hemi Cudas in 1968? Is there some site that discusses the value of these cars?
My brother went to a "By Invitation Only" sale of a collection of 1500 high end cars being liquidated. He's a Ford guy and loading up on the Shelbys and Cobras -- and a GNX. However they have a factory 68 Hemi Barracuda for sale that he might be able to get a pretty good deal on -- and we might go partners in it. He hasn't been able to see what documentation there is -- or have the car inspected for indications of cloning, wrecks, or flat out wearing out from too many launches. They swear that car is authentic -- but that the race history is unavailable. I don't yet know what that means -- nor do I have the full number. It is a BO29 for the first 4 digits.
Anyway -- I need to quickly try to investigate what I can and would appreciate any links that might help me determine the value of the car -- and what to be looking for.
