On the way home with 2 grandkids from the Memorial day parade the Coronet stated missing and farting. Made it home and run it right in the shed and neglected it till I decided to put it in the local high school homecoming parade. Fired right up but still missing and puking with really stinky exhaust and smoking black. Then just quit. No go. Oh crap now what. Decided to take carb off to clean from sitting but took off gas line and put in a bottle and turned on pump. No fuel flow. DAMN - tank was out of gas. Put in 5 gallons took for a clean out drive and miss is gone. Surprising what a little fuel will do. BTW there are times when running lean will have a lot of the same symptoms as running rich.(still haven't taken carb off and likely won't as it runs good.)
