I have a '73 Dart Sport with a 225. I am swaping over to a carburated 318/727 from a '87 Ramcharger. My car already has Elec. ignition. Should I use the non-vaccum advance electronic dist. that was on the 318 or would it be better to use an older vaccum advance dist.? What are the pros and cons of each? I am on a budget so I will be making a trip to the junkyard this weekend to go hunting. The distributor that was on the 318 was worn out... so I need to get something.
One more question.... on either distributor, is there much that I can do to improve performance? My engine is mostly stock, so it doesn't really need much at all.
