Dream of the Archer – 72 Road Runner

I have been working on my 72 Road Runner. I bought it back in November 2004 and it has been a piece of Yard Art since then. I started the actual work on March 19, 2010. As of today I am not quite finished. You can view pictures of the work on facebook. I have it set up so you do not need to be a member to access the photo album. Here is the address: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...9&l=6a2c858309. At this point the following has been done to the car: Swapped out the 318 that the previous owner installed after the 340 was blown up. Replaced it with a 400 and 727 automatic. Edelbrock Performer 383 intake, Carter 850 CFM Thermoquad, Summit Racing headers, 440 Source front end kit for engine with new alternator and power steering pump. Aluminum radiator, aluminum driver side outlet water pump housing and pump. Lengthen wiring for converting from small block to big block. Swap in 1972 Satellite/Charger disc brakes, disc brake master cylinder, reproduction proportioning valve from Inline tube. Custom front brake hoses and assorted other brake and power steering fittings, hoses from Northwest Tubes N' Hoses out of Vancouver, WA. Front end rebuilt using poly kit from ESPO Springs & Things.

Still need to bleed brakes, fab fuel line and work out the choke. Then get it running and take it down to have exhaust pipes made and alignment done. Really hope to have it driveable by the first week of June.
