This has been a wet summer for us, wetter than normal. In March there was some serious flooding and the people that flooded have just over the last couple of months got their repairs completed. Fast forward to this week. The low pressure system that got Mutt earlier in the week is here and about 25 miles to the north of me since midnight they have had 16+ inches of rain and flooded again. Water rescues from homes and vehicles, but over a much larger area now - all the way into Baton Rouge. I've gotten probably only about 6-8 inches and sit on one of the highest parts of the area, so no problems for me. Just feel for the people that are having to go through this again, and the people around Baton Rouge who never flooded before who now also have to go through it.
