Confused about adjusting rocker arms

Well, some of you know that i destroyed my cam and lifters not long ago. After a lot of asurance from a few friends here. I decided to put in an new cam. I went with Hughes Whiplash cam and adjustable roller tip rocker arms.
A side note. I have another block and am still planning on building the stroker motor. This will allow me to use my car till the new motor is done

The cam is broke in and oil pressure is great. Hues had the settings for adjusting the rockers at 2 turns for a street motor. I broke the cam in with 3/4 turns. All the lifters were rattling. I wanted them loose as to tight. Now that the cam is broke in. I would like to go back and readjust the rockers. I thought I had a good handle on this. I don't. I know chevys run quiet at about 3/4 turns. hughes told me to add another 1/2 turn and it should be quiet. So now I am at 1 1/4 turns. I would like to go back. Set the lash at 0 and re adjust them.
Can any one help me with what you would recommend now that the motor has been ran. I have been searching and have came up with nothing that gives me any confidence. I think I am going to have to re jet the carb again for this cam. I would like to get the valves adjusted first though. I still have about half ticking. Not as bad as at 3/4 turns.
I admit I am in over my head on this one. I don't want to ruin another cam.
So, hopefully some one will be able to offer some advise on how I should start here. This is a link of the car right now. I should have opened the hood when I made this. I can do a short vid of what it sounds like under there if needed.
Thanks again for helping me out
I found a video from yesterday that you can hear the lifters under the hood. i will post it as soon as it finishes downloading. It was before the timing was set and carb semi adjusted
