looking over craigslist the other day I ran across an add of someone (a scrap yard) parting out a 66 barracuda
the ad said the V8 engine was gone already so I gave them a call to see what rear end was in there
the called back a day later and said it was the smaller rear end and they didn't know the gear ratio but the owner of the scrapyard had a rear end from a 66 dart stashed away he was willing to part with
he originally wanted to use it on a build but he ended up having too many project and abandoning the build before he ever started it
the rear end he had was a 8 3/4, with small yoke, small bolt pattern, open 3.23 gearing and 11 inch drums
everything between the drums and 6 lugnuts for 300 bucks :cheers:
aren't you guys happy we didn't end up pillaging that 74 duster now?
