Newbie from AZ

Hey guys, my name is Brian. I’m somewhat of a newcomer to early mopars. My dad and I are building a turbo slant six for his 64 valiant. Neither of us know too much about forced induction so I hope there are some experienced hands on this board as I have lots of questions. I know everyone likes pictures, so here is his car, and here’s a picture of my Durango just for fun.

New to the site, form kentucky

My current project is a 1974 Plymouth Valiant Broughham. It had 42000 miles on it and was owned by a little old lady,(I always wanted to be able to say that). It was “turd brown metallic”. The interior is absolutely perfect. It is light brown velour, it also has factory high back buckets. Currently it is “Gimme a ticket red” with red gold translucent flakes. The springs have been relocated and it is mini-tubbed. I am currently assembling a 540 wedge for it. The kit is from the, 440 source. I…

Recently bought a 65 Dart Wagon

Hi, I just got a 65 Dart wagon about a month ago. It has a Slant 6, one barrel. It has a 4 speed manual on the floor, I was told from a 69. A 69 what I am not sure. I do not have any pics yet.
I am in the LA area. Planning on going to the Fall Fling tomorrow. See if I can find a few things for my interior. And maybe a new shift lever for that 4 speed. I have a bench and the lever is a straight Hurst that hits the ashtray when I put it in 1st.
