REAR GEARING ADVICE

While Ohio enjoys a “Tax Free” week, I’ve decided to order the new gears for the Challenger project.

I am undecided between a 3.55 and 3.76(?) ratio. It’s a mildly built 440 with a new 2200-2400 stall converter, new TCI Super Streetfighter Torqueflite and 8 3/4 rear. She was a 12.90 second weekend fun machine, now returning to mainly street cruising. Probably very little highway driving and I would like to “light ’em up” occasionally (I’m 76 years old LOL).

73 Cuda U joint

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a 1350 to 7260 U joint. For a 1973 Cuda 340 4 speed. Has a 8.75 with a Dana 1350 yoke. Got a conversion joint from Dr. Diff but the body is too big to fit into the drive shaft. Any help would be appreciated.

CRUSH SLEEVE ELIMINATOR KIT – BEST ONE?

When I replace the gears in my 489 case, I want to use a solid sleeve and shims instead of the crush sleeve. I see prices from $25 to $60. Is there a kit that’s better than another?

TRANSMISSION TO ENGINE BOLT SOURCE?

I need a source for the bolts to mount my Torqueflite to the 440 in my ’70 Challenger. I don’t see anything listed at ARP. Suggestions?
