Can you still use a mechanical fuel pump while running an electric i was wondering because i knocked a wire off my electric pump and it would not start so i assumed there was no longer a mechanical pump .

I was in a Toyota dealership today and they had a display that showed a 2009 Tundra (pickup) ring gear and they were pointing out that it had a diameter of 10.5-inches.

That sounds interesting to me, if ratios are available for it.

I was wondering if any of the gear companies might glom into this rascal and start making 4.56 gears (and others) for it. It could replace the 9-inch Ford. with a diameter that’s seventeen percent bigger!

Alright guys I am running a 500″ stroker with stock heads and a very mild streetable cam and I am running 12.15’s in a 71 Dart. I am looking to upgrade to a mechanical roller cam and a set of ported aluminum heads, so what the best or the best bang for the buck out there. Id like to shave a second off my ET’s. Hello friends! Some may have read about the Leadfoot Rally Duster build here (http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=69860).

We put a 340 into a ’73 Duster, and it’s a pooch. Engine was built 10 years ago, but not wanting to put another motor in the machine shop at the time, we decided to use the 340 for the Leadfoot Rally. When we drag raced the car for the compeitition, it only went a 15.08 at 91 mph best (4800 feet). It did go 130mph on the front strait of the road course.

I am building a 440 (all stock with 906 heads) with 237 KB pistons. I want to know how much comp ratio i am going to get with this pistons. Because i dont want to have gas octane problems.
