I have an engine puller, engine stand and small block Mopar engine cart w/wheels for use for those who need one during their engine build and engine swap. Free use for as long as you need it. local guy has an 8.25 from a 70’s a body—-
says it’s a sure grip– but doesn’t know the ratio.
how do you tell the ratio– if no tag is present?
how do you test the sure grip? (hold 1 side & try top spin the other?)
this would use larger shock mounts than a 7.25 would it not?

I’ll take a tape measure to compare with my 7.25 anything else? thanks Lawrence

Yep, met Stacey David today and had a good conversation with the guy. Really nice guy, and he’s not just a host of TV shows…..the guy actually knows what he is talking about. Not really brank loyal, he likes fords, chevys, mopars, hot rods, 4×4’s, about everything. Talked to him about 20 minutes on Mopars.
