8 1/4 Axle HELP !!!
I just had a 355 sure grip installed in my 83 cordoba!! Works great really woke it up! My problem is that the passenger side axle is starting to show some wear and i want to find a good one. My rear is 51″ plate to plate(edge)I was told by the guy i bought it from that the rear is out of a fury. Don

Hey everyone! 😀 I am looking for an axle shaft for my 8 1/4. The casting number is 3723599. I researched the number and it comes back to a 71 74 b body. This rear end bolted right under my 83 cordoba. The b body numbers seem far wider than this rear measures. Any ideas :confused: Please help Tha

i am building a dakota with a 360 approx 450-475 horse. my question is will my stock dakota 8 1/4 rear end hold up to this power with slicks?
