Hey guys, I’ve been away for a bit.
I lost my best buddy last Wednesday. He was Guinness my 7 year old Lab cross. He got sick (not eating ) on the Friday morning and it turned out that it was his liver and kidneys shuting down. I had to make the desision by Tuesday night to put him down. Its very tough because the week before at the park he was the fastest guy there as usual.

Just checking if anyone wants this poor refugee.

Parents bought brand new in 1982, they bought a 2003 Intrepid recently, and gave this to my son while we fixed his Monte Carlo.

Its got all the maintenance records since it was new. My dad is a retired aerospace engineer, what can i say.

Its a 2.2L Carbed engine, i think it has +120,000, timing belt etc has been done.

In the last 10 or 15 yrs, it hasnt gone more than 10 miles a week or so.

I know there are a lot of FABO members who own a wide variety of different and interesting cars, so I’m wondering if anyone here happens to own or “be interested in” older Porsches from the ’80s and earlier. My buddy’s dad owns a ’98 911 Targa (last year of air-cooled) and while it’s not a classic it is very unique and a thrill to ride in (of course I haven’t driven it…). After looking around and realizing how INEXPENSIVE these cool cars are it seems like I might actually be able to get one…

I try to not watch the news, but I’ve followed this story. I’m not sure if it made national news or not. I prayed that this little girl would be found alive and okay. Its so sad that this happens. She didn’t ask to be put in the situation she was in. As adults we make our own desions, but children do as they are told. This story hits me hard for some reason.

Sorry for the rant, and not trying to bring down the FABO family, but why does this…

Guys, I’ve had a continuing problem since I opened my shop that needs to be addressed.

Since a majority of my work comes from FABO members and I have a bunch of outstanding quotes right now with parts expected in the near future, I’m hoping this will get a lot of views.

When choosing a box for your parts, please make sure it’s large enough to hold not only the parts, but a lot of wrapping and packing materials too. I can fill up extra space with packaging but I can’t make the box bigger…
