I know there are a lot of FABO members who own a wide variety of different and interesting cars, so I’m wondering if anyone here happens to own or “be interested in” older Porsches from the ’80s and earlier. My buddy’s dad owns a ’98 911 Targa (last year of air-cooled) and while it’s not a classic it is very unique and a thrill to ride in (of course I haven’t driven it…). After looking around and realizing how INEXPENSIVE these cool cars are it seems like I might actually be able to get one…

I try to not watch the news, but I’ve followed this story. I’m not sure if it made national news or not. I prayed that this little girl would be found alive and okay. Its so sad that this happens. She didn’t ask to be put in the situation she was in. As adults we make our own desions, but children do as they are told. This story hits me hard for some reason.

Guys, I’ve had a continuing problem since I opened my shop that needs to be addressed.

Since a majority of my work comes from FABO members and I have a bunch of outstanding quotes right now with parts expected in the near future, I’m hoping this will get a lot of views.

When choosing a box for your parts, please make sure it’s large enough to hold not only the parts, but a lot of wrapping and packing materials too. I can fill up extra space with packaging but I can’t make the box bigger…

I just found out that my day job no longer exists. I’ve been working in delivery and distribution of newspapers for the past 3-1/2 years since I was losing my high-tech job (fiber optics) back in 2006.

In 2006 after learning that JDS Uniphase was moving all jobs overseas for cheaper labour, a friend who was delivering newspapers to houses and then working at JDS, got me into the commercial side delivering to stores since I had a van. I was up at 1:30am delivering papers and then worked at JDS…

I was in your neighborhood yesterday.I came down 63 from Joplin to W. Memphis.Don’t deliver till 1130 so went to see Tom Bodet to watch NHRA!

A few nights ago, we were talking about this yard in chat. I know some of these pics have been seen before, but I just found all of them so here they are. Me and John are probably going to go out there this spring. If anyone wants to come with, feel free. I have been out there twice. About eight hours each time and I didn’t hardly get out of the mopars. I should have taken more pics, but the battery went dead. Enjoy!
