i was out crusing tonight and my new belt just popped off and over heated of corse. has any one had this happen before, nothing looks bent to the point where the belt came off i put a thicker belt that a car buddy gave to me and got home and it seems to be ok just weird the alt. pully looks like a bigger v then crank and water pump jw seems to be fixed just one of those thing that makes me scratch my head.

I just got a ’75 Duster /6 auto that I’m willing to strip down for parts. It has P/S, A/C, manual front disk brakes, big-bolt-pattern wheels, and a 7-1/4″ rear. Interior is in decent shape, it’s a plaid maroon color. Front bench seat in good shape (tear down back of driver’s seat). Original AM radio also works fine. I stripped them to bare metal sanded up and put a nice coat of primer on them. Ready for the paint color of your choice.

Hi being a new member,I’m still finding my way around. I have bought a 65 but don’t have it home to work on. I did put a battery in it and get it to start. I had to pour gas in the carb and hold my foot on the pedal to keep it going. The exhaust had a strong odor and some smoke but had good oil presure and no strange noises. Being I have no idea how long it has been since the car ran, I’m thinking a carb rebuid and tune may have me started toward my restoration. Any ideas out there. Thanks

Went to walmart to get some oil and filter for my truck and I see that they stock mopar oil filters there now. Who would figure.

Also did anyone else find the mopar collector matchbox sets at big lots? I’ve been to three and still haven’t found any.
