Well, I blew my exhaust manifold gasket last night.

It’s the very front one. I can see where it’s turning black on the side of it so I guess I’ll get to wrench on my new car sooner than I thought.

It’s really not loud, but I can hear and notice it, so it’s gotta be fixed.

It will also give me a chance to clean it up and maybe paint it while it’s off.

Is there any tricks or things I should look out for?

hi fellas, im going to buy a rebuild kit for my 727 but want to make sure of the year, ive looked at the lists of #s on the net but cant find mine. hope some one can help. i cant see any numbers on the pan rail as it was painted but i got these from the case 3410963. i bought this from a guy that got it from a junkyard. thanks

Hey Guys,

I just minitubbed my 71 scamp and am soon moving in the springs as well…I want to fit as wide a tire as i can in there and the next thing i want to do is to remove the lip that runs along the rear wheel openings…question is how do i do this? That lip is a seam of two pieces of metal so I am not sure what i should do….should i cut it, should i bend it, etc? If you guys have done this before please share how you did it and pictures would be great too.

I want to make sure I’m on the right track. I can run a neutral balance converter on a 74 360 external balanced as long as I use the special flexplate like the the 10236 B & M right?
