Ok, I have lined up all the pin holes at the bottom of the shifter and ALL the rods have been put on correct with trans in neutral. The issue I am having is that when I go into Reverse and then try and go to neutral to grab 1st gear it binds up. With some serious wiggling and kind of Pulling up on the shifter it will eventually go. Does this sound like the shifter itself is out of adjustment??

Okay. Today I popped in my newly rebuilt 360 and A833 gearbox. I wasn’t present during the removal of the transmission, but I did get it in back myself. Before I get everything bolted and cinched back into place I have two questions that maybe someone can answer.

First, the car has a Hurst shifter. I have plans to clean it up before it and the shifter rods are reinstalled. I don’t know how to get the shifter rods back into place. Is there a nice instruction manual or how-to nearby? It looks…

will 70-72 metal sail interior panels interchange with the 73-76 plastic ones. the plastic ones in my 74 are broke and I would prefer metal ones anyway. anyone see a problem with finding an earlier set for my duster?

Wanted: Weld Draglites (2) 15×7 with 4.5 backspace and (2) 15 x 6 with 4.5 backspace. I might even take some 4″ or 5″ wide front wheels. Let me know what you got.

Today I was able to drop in my newly rebuilt 360 into my ’65 Barracuda. I connected the bell housing and the transmission (A833 4-speed) and sailed it in. For engine mounts, I used the Schumacher units.

Here’s a question: what do I need to do make sure the whole apparatus is correctly level and aligned properly? Is there a write-up someplace?
