Here in NJ, towns go so crazy with road salt that it is impossible to take the cars for a spin. Even on a nice, sunny, winter day. You end up waiting for the Spring rains to wash away all the crap on the roads. I guess the mob must be in the road salt business because you cannot imagine how much of this sh-t they put down.

alternator tech help

i was going to ask this in my other post but thought that someone else may want to know the same things about the alternator as i do…now for the crazy ??? my car is the 70 duster it has the 3 wire alternator on it already but how can i tell the amp. of the alternator???i plan to go to a electric fan/water pump drive and i have the holley fuel pump on now as well.. i dont want to run into any electric problems when i install this set-up…i do know that most of the fans that im thinking of…

How to Roof Swap

The following pics are of a 71 I found. The only major problem is the roof and a passenger floor pan. I also found a 72 with a decent roof. Where should I make the cuts? Or should I take both cars to a PRO and let them do it?

Manual Column Rebuild

Does anyone have detailed information on how to rebuild a manual steering column for a 1973 Duster.The spacer at the bottom to hold the shaft staight in the tube. Dont have one dont know what it looks like.I went to my Crysler Dealer he told me it came as part of the tube but its discontinued mabe I could make something since it only took up the slack from the steering post to the tube. So I was thinking about making it out of teflon But dont know what it looks like.If anyone could help me out…

Those with power brakes(front disc/rear drum)

I have a 1971 duster which originally came with 4 wheel drums. Front 9″. I’m in the process of Converting the front to disc from performance online. I’m also getting their booster/master cylinder(http://www.performanceonline.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=19530&cat=291&page=1)
I will keep the rear drums for the time being. Do I have to change the stock combination valve? The kit includes risidual valves(I’m guessing if I convert to rear disc). Do I have to install them if I’m keeping…
