Hi everyone.
My 67 Dart had been having a bad run of luck with the instrument panel, and I was able to solve most of them by doing the following:
1) Replacing the 5 Volt power supply with one made from modern parts.
2) Replacing all of the light bulb plastic holders.
3) Replacing all of the light bulbs.
That fixed my gages, the lights on the left hand side of the panel, and my right-hand turn signal.
So, I pulled the panel out again, and ran soldered wires from each post of the plugs to…

Do I put a screwdriver across the BAT and SOL terminals with the key in the ON position? I can’t work on the car where it is and don’t want to spend $200 on a tow bill. Any help appreciated.

Sold me an excellent Hurst comp plus shifter, rods, adapter, hardware, even came with the locking pin for alignment.

More parts coming, and the install went great.

Took my first drive tonight with a hurst and a pistol grip shifter, pics coming soon.

Well started the project to disc brake conversion, manual steering with new brake lines and trans lines. Gonna do the power tour long haul in june.
