ballast resistor wiring diagram

i could really use a ballast resistor wiring diagram or a good pic of how its wired up… i put a 318 into a /6 car…the wiring was all cut up and i didnt think i could save it…so i got an ez wiring kit…but the diagram on how to set it up doesnt match the wiring diagram i have for the car…i got it set up now but it wont stay running unless i hold the ing. in the start position…i have moved some wires around but i dont want 2 keep doing that a run the chance of burning up the wiring or…

Running ruff and no power

I need help trying to find out what and were my problem is, i just install a 408 stroker in my duster, but i forgot to bolt on the neg cable to the block at first start up there was smoke from under the dash, this is were I,m lost

the smoke came from the ground wire on the steering column, replaced
Have check all of the leeds to the box,coil and dist, all have the voltage need to work but the car still…

Best headlight option

finally after 24 years I’m piecing the duster back together and I’m looking to put in a more efficient headlight than the original sealed beam any ideas?

I don’t have to have the latest bling-bling retina burning HID flashing disco light… I just figure with all the new tech there has to be something that looks the same but works better.

Burning up ballast resisters

Well, the title sez it all, 3 in a month, WTF? is that all about? Crazy I tell ya.

Charging is normal, starting, otherwise is allways quick. Anybody go through this?

Wrong Alternator?

So my alternator’s voltage output was low. So, I went to my trusted local auto parts store, and got a rebuilt untit. Well, the dang thing doesn’t fit. I had to shorten the long spacer that goes between the mounting ears, because the dimensions were different than the stock alternator. I got it mounted up, and it sits crooked. When I started the car up, it just smoked the new fan belt, as the alternator pulley was at too extreme an angle to rotate freely.

So, my core is gone, as I waited…

Engine cranks but won’t start

Over the course of four days I replaced the following on my 318. Voltage regulator, new spark plugs and a MSD blaster coil. The car cranks but will not fire up. I am thinking I did something wrong when hooking the coil up but everything looks good. Sounds fine when cranking but will not engage. All the spark plug wire boots are tight as well. What are the steps to solve this problem?

my wiring is all messed up, i unpluged the brake connector thing from the little plunger, and drove a bit and hooked it back up again. now my brake lights dont work at all, and the inside dome lights are dim when i drive, but do not light up when doors are opem, and the dash lights dont work at all.

can anyone help me with how to rewire everything and all the wireing harnesses and yeah.
