Well, things went real bad. My son was driving the Dart and there was an engine fire. It appears there was some sort of short in the harness on the firewall and the harness itself is a complete loss.
Does anyone know of a source of new replacement engine harness?
I was looking at a harness from a parts car but replacing a burnt up 36 year old harness with another 36 year old harness doesn’t appeal to me very much.
I looked at the Painless products but their very universal and I’m not too…

I have a 72 Duster,225 Slant 6 pretty much stock and my fuel gauge dosent work.I checked it for voltage with a test light and noticed with the key on,the light on the test light blinks and then the fuel gauge starts to work but then when I take the test light off,the gauge fails to work again.So I figured the gauge actually works but must be a bad ground so I checked under the car and noticed a wire sticking out from one of the fuel lines next to the fuel tank.Is this the fuel…

Finally decided to add some new gauges to the Dart today. Originally I wanted to stay with the sleeper look and rely on the stock gauges,but the temp gauge let me down. It was reading way off,and after a hot day of driving,I pulled into the garage and the car started puking out the over flow tube. Also added a oil pressure gauge. No more relying on the idiot light !

They are 2 1/16″ Auto Meter Sport Comp electric gauges. Finally will know exactly what is going on with the engine.

I found a leak at my distributor (small block) between the Dist and the block. The Dist has both the O-ring and gasket,like it should.

Any tricks on sealing this area up ?

Anybody use 2 paper gaskets ?

will some one please help me im having a hard time with the tail/brake lights they wont come on blinker works i beleive reverse works but the dam brake lights wont work so i woke up this morning gave her a tune up and put in new bulbs and fuses still nothing(tune up wasnt a solluion just something i did lol) but some one was talking about a sernser and if there is wtf do i do? im dumbfounded please help fix my baby
