electric fan / alternator question

I am thinking of changing to a electric fan that uses 18 amps … what size ( amps ) alternator should i use ? Car has electric fuel pump stock radio , and not much else …

Condenser or not????

1975 Scamp 318. In looking at the service manual, I see absolutely no mention of a condenser in the ignition circuit – I have one attached to the coil. Is one required with electronic ignition?? Thanks

Ok, I need some help with a weird one…

I have had a new problem pop up today…

I have an autometer tach, which has been hooked up and working 110% since day one. Today I am going for a left turn, and I happen to notice that the shift light is flashing on and off with the turn signal blinker… while its doing this, the tach needle is pointed as if it is off(no power) I try the right signal, and the tach remains working and no flashing of the shift light…

Ok, I know this is an “A” Body forum, but it applies to my 68 Roadrunner too.
I have been driving my bird for 10 years with flawless performance. In the past 6 months each time I would go to start the car it would act like a bad battery connection, you know, chatter chatter click click, or it would start just fine. Any good way to make the brake lights brighter?

Hey All:

I’m wondering if there’s any way to brighten up the taillights and brakelights.

Also curios about making the turn signals flash a little faster.

Mine seem kind of dim, but it may just be because I’m used to newer cars.

I don’t drive at night a lot, but I don’t want to get run into because someone didn’t notice my brake lights.

I have a 73 duster, I just put in a new battery, alternator is only about 2 months old, new plugs wires and cap and rotor. I have electronic system no points. I go to start it today I was on my way to test and tune put gas in started with no problem. Got to another stop went to go start and car would not start.
