68 Polara Cluster Removal

Hi! I’ve got my gauge cluster out. It felt like a risky venture pulling it. I did drop the steering column down. Also, iremoved the adjacent bezel panels. But it was very, very tight in between the upper and lower dash pieces. It felt like i was going to break something. Soon I’ll be installing it. I’m a bit worried. Is there a better way, or trick to doing this? Maybe some KY?

68 Polara Dash Lights

I just changed the old bulbs to some new led bulbs in my gauge cluster. I did it because it barely lit up with the old bulbs in it. Now the new LEDs mostly don’t light up at all. I got one of them to light up just a little bit. I’m thinking that the dimmer switch Isn’t sending enough voltage. On top of this the switches action is poor. Is there a way to bypass it? Or should I just by a new one. They’re a bit pricey. That’s my only hesitancy.

7 1/4
8 1/4
8 3/4
All of the above?

My father is looking at a ’65 Polara and they seller has no idea which the rear end is, only that it is limited slip. I sent him a picture of what the rear ends look like but the car is currently in storage and my father is about 12 hours away from being able to go look at the car. Just trying to get a better idea of what might be in the car. Currently has a rebuilt 360 under the hood, bench seat. Good…
