I'm running a 750 Edelbrock on my 440. When I make a turn, it will backfire through the carb. I was sure it was a float level problem. I have checked the level twice and the second time I adjusted it so the fuel level in the bowl would be slightly lower than specs. The results were the same. It happens when leaving from a stop and making a turn. More often its a left turn. Is there something else in the carb that would cause this? The carb performs great otherwise.
