So I just scored a freshly rebuilt big block and trans, and want to put it in my '87 shortbed. The pan is a front sump. It was in a motorhome, but clearence isn't an issue with them for that application. Seeing as how I had tried to install a 360 in the same truck with a front sump oil pan only to find once it was down in the bay, that I needed a rear sump pan, I thought I'd ask here.
I'm figuring I'll need a rear sump pan for the big block too?
