I saw a few threads on this from awhile ago, but it didn't seem that a solution ever got posted.
I have a 96 5.9 that I am using the timing cover off of a 68 318. ( Going into a 71 dart) As far as I know both cranks and everything else on both motors was standard, nothing special on either. I believe the timing cover isn't aftermarket as it has factory casting numbers and the pentastar on it, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's originally from that motor. ( Timing tab is on...
