Newer Challenger Advice

I know this isn’t an E-Body question, but my son has saved up some money and is looking to buy a used newer Challenger with a loan through his credit union. I’m thinking a 2015 or newer R/T with the 5.7 hemi and automatic. I’d love to hear from you folks who have a newer Challenger and if there’s anything we need to look for, stay away from or be concerned with. How many miles are these good for! I see some with around 100,000 miles of them! I know you guys will know the ins and outs! And he…

An Industrial 413 Build

So a while ago I picked up a 1970 industrial 413 for $150. My original intention was just to keep the crank and rods to use in other projects. My son and I tore it down three days after I got it and it’s a good thing we did. Water had gotten into the engine and the oil pan was mostly water!! Kitten Tales

When you own a car for most of your life and it’s a daily driver as well, you become emotionally attached. I bought my 70 Challenger in the fall of 1987. Mid-year vehicles

Why our Old Mopars are the best!

OK, thought of a fun topic that us Mopar nuts can all chime in on. Compared to other cars of the same year, our Mopar cars were much superior. After all, why are we here on this forum. So I thought I’d start listing a few items why our Mopars are bette…

Vinyl Tops

I’d like to get peoples opinions regarding vinyl tops. Both my 70 Challenger and 71 Barracuda were originally vinyl top cars. Challenger’s roof is currently painted white, but I have the correct vinyl top in a box. I’m thinking painting the roofs with …

1970 Challenger Western Sport Special Trivia

As an owner off a 1970 Challenger Western Sport Special for 35+ years, I have read probably just about everything on these cars. Everyone is familiar with the A91 package contents, so no need to rehash them again. I have learned a couple things that ma…
