Regular Mini Starter vs Hi-Torque

The starter on my 440 Magnum (72 Challenger) is tired and needs to be replaced.
I’ve been recommended to put in a "mini starter" and there are two choices – a regular Mr. Gasket and a High-torque by Proform for 50 bucks more.

Does anyone know of the 72 Challenger came with a clutch-starter safety switch? (like a neutral safety switch on an automatic tranny).
Mine was converted from an automatic and does not have a clutch switch, causing some safety questions.

One Terminal Melted in Firewall Junction Block

I have no power in my 72 Challenger anywhere. Seems the previous owner didn’t put in a fuseable link and a surge melted the primary red wire going from the starter relay to the ammeter at the firewall junction block. Any suggestions on how to fix this?…
