1969 318 Timing Cover
Hello,
I am looking for an early 318 timing cover. Specifically, I am looking for one with the timing marks on the passenger side of the cover. I think that style is 1968 maybe, and for sure 1969 only.
Thanks,

A Wrapup of Goodbye and Good Riddance
I wanted to share what I have learned over the last six weeks while working on my 1969 Fury III 318 droptop, and share some direct comparisons. I will try, but will most likely fail, to keep this short…
1) The previous owner had the car changed over from manual drum to SSBC discs up front, and a LEEDS power brake booster.
a) I think the system is garbage. On a normal day, stops fine. Panic situation, I’m going into whatever is in front of me. The leeds chinesium…
Ride Height…………,Again
I just put my 69 fury back together. I rebuilt the entire front suspension, and did a factory disc setup on it. I set the ride height. From my eyes, the ride height looks good. I did the factory procedure from the shop manual where you measure from the lowest point of the lower ball joint and from the adjusting blade. I still have what seems like a long way to go when I measure distance a from distance b with respect to the floor, the difference is only an inch or…
1972 Brake Pedal Cover
I I’m looking for the rubber brake pedal cover that fits the pedal from a 72 New Yorker. I used the pedal assembly for my manual drum to power disc conversion on my 69 fury. unfortunately the rubber pedal is gone. I don’t care whether it has the stainless trim or not, though that would be nice.
Thank you

I Feel So Stupid…Idler Arm Removal
Boy, do I feel dumb,
I cannot see how to get the idler arm separated from the center link. I have everything else out. I cannot get my pickle fork between the center link and the idler arm. The local rental tie rod pullers have fingers that are too…
Strut Rod Sleeve
So today I tore apart the whole front suspension on my 1969 fury. As expected, everything is toast. I can move the ball joints with my pinky finger, that’s how wasted they are. Every bushing is toast. I have a complete kit for rebuilding that I received from Craig at mobile parts. Therefore I’m replacing everything with good Moog equipment.
That being said, when I pulled out the strut arms, I found that the metal sleeve that goes over the strut rod between the bushings is also…
