I removed the radio from my 1970 Chrysler 300 convertible about 5 years ago. I replaced it with a modern unit that accepted digital inputs etc. I have the cluster out (still) and the wife want the OE radio put back in. I can’t find it but I’m sure I will right after I solve the whole dilemma and put everything back together. As the is progresses I’d like to ask a few questions if I may:
Does the cluster have to come out to R & R the radio? The FSM is VERY poor IMO and omits MANY details. The…

Anyone know a source or part number? My instrument cluster is out so I’m thinking of adding a clock.

The bumpers on mine are pretty ugly. The chrome has gotten super thin and they take away from the car big time. Do I look for a rechroming service? I can’t remember the guys that used to go to most of the Mopar shows. I got bumpers from them years ago for a T/A I had and they were great. I don’t recall them having a 300 bumpers though?

Can someone please offer tell me how to find a cable for this vehicle please? I went to the apt website and they don’t list one for my car.

Hello all, I have a fuel gauge issue that I am trying to remedy. I have removed the sending unit and cleaned it up so it now reads 0-50 ohms. I’ve read that they read 8-70 ohms but I am thinking what I have is proper. It certainly seems proper and I get the same resistance if I bypass the wiper and read the wire turns alone. I also grounded the wire at the connector behind the front kick panel and the gauge doesn’t budge. I removed the voltage limiter and tested it but I cannot see any way…
