Ok I am stuck, my back up lights (reverse) don’t work, I know the 2 outside pins are suppose to short together when in reverse to turn the lights on, with the car in reverse the switch does not close (I have been under there with my meter) So the trans is an early 1970s non lock up. It has been rebuilt and the NSS was replace with new.

The car cranks over in Neutral and Park and in any other gear will not crank.

Now there is something odd going on the 3 pins on the old switch are…

My friend has my old low mileage (70,000miles) 318 out of my Cordoba, he stripped down to freshen up and look what he found, it looks like its cracked either side of the head bolt into the water jacket, anyone seen this before, is it fixable? Any ideas?

For you guys in mopar land where 318s are a dime a dozen its simple just get another block off craigslist or a complete engine, living at the bottom of the planet we don’t quite have that luxury

Hi Guys,

I finally got the harmonic damper off the 6.1 hemi, what a mission! I used a normal pulla with a couple of big washers jammed in behind the balancer, worked well just a lot of dicking around. Since the engine is internally balanced I assume it can go on any place when I put it back on? (I don’t see any timing marks on it)

Yeah I know the bolts are on an angle, I wanted it to pull straight, Since both on similar angles I thought bugger it, lets give it a go!

The buttons on the stereo don’t work, like they lost the spring. Free to who ever wants it only catch is its in NZ so there will be freight NZ to USA but if you want to restore back to original then this could be an option.
