Need to pull the 318

It needs freeze plugs, gonna replace them with brass. That said I know what needs to be undone to get the engine out, however I have never pulled one from an A-body, are there some items that need to be undone that don’t on the bigger cars/trucks? Will the 727 clear if I pull the radiator? -BD

Someone here has a Formula S pic as their avatar. If possible do you have a larger pic. I have a nice pair of emblems but I need to repaint them so the pic would help me immensely. It’s for a 65 by the way.

318 for 12.80 bracket car

Hello guys.

I am building a 74 Scamp to bracket race in sportsman class at PIR and Woodburn. The class cut off is 12.80.

My original plan was to drop my 413 in the car but after tearing it down I discovered it needs to be rebuilt with new pistons.

WELLLL!!!!!!! I have this running 318 in my car right now. HMMMM!

So I am thinking why not just build the 318?? Save me the trouble of the swap, finding BB pullys and brackets, saves weight up front were it matters, ect. ect. …
