69 Dart, rust free 6cyl driver

Rust free! Typical little old lady car. Was bought new by old maid school teacher in Oklahoma. 225 6 cylinder, power steering air conditioned, rubber floor mats and radio delete. 101000 miles and still runs like a top, transmission shifts strong, and brakes work as well as the dinky things can. Front seat has just been re-covered and the interior is needing nothing. Good dash pad, door panels, headliner, and just re-covered the front seat to match everything. Has recent am/fm/cd with…

Anybody need a 318 2bbl intake and carb?

Hey All:

I’ve got a cast iron 1971 318 2bbl intake and carb that I just pulled. Ran great.

1967 Plymouth Barracuda fastback, rebuilt numbers matching 273 2bbl, console automatic, power steering, full dual exhaust with OE Challenger tips under the valance, factory vacuum gauge in dash, very useable original red interior. Previous owner had this car just a few weeks short of 30 years. Has been maintained as a primary car for a greater portion of that time. What a dilemma!

OK, I’ve recently received an offer on my car involving a straight up trade for another. I’m having some trouble with the decision… here’s the deal:

My current car is a 1972 Demon that originally came with a 225/904/7.25 but is now equipped with a fresh 360/727/8.75 combo that I installed myself in the spring. The interior is 18,000 miles fresh but the car has very tired green paint and will require some bodywork when the time comes to shoot it. It’s also originally a light enamel gold (GY4)…

Pinging

Any suggestions on where i can look to figure out the pinging on my slant six I tried backing off the timing with no luck It still pings Will a colder plug help?Engine temp seems fine too

What color to paint my engine?

Hey All:

I’ve got a ’71 Dart. It’s light metallic blue. I’m dropping a 5.9 Magnum engine into it.

I’m trying to decide what color to paint the engine. The 318 in the car is turquoise now. It’s pretty similar to the color of the car, so it looks a little strange.

I was also thinking about either like a hemi orange, or maybe that crazy lime green color. I’m not a really big fan of black as an engine color.

Any suggestions or pics are appreciated.
