The Wait Is Killing Me!

I had some parts laying around so I decided to build a 360 for my duster. Anyways, I made a poor choice on pistons and had the block decked .040ish to compensate so I had to order new pushrods. They’ll be here Tuesday, cause I was too cheap to upgrade the shipping, and it is KILLING ME! So much so it keeps me up at night sometimes. I just want to fire this thing and see how it runs! Its a .040 over 360, 10:1 comp, ported 587s, comp xe274h cam, rpm air-gap, holley 750 in a 70 duster, 3.91s,…

Serious Heavy Metal!!

A buddy of mine who is deep into death metal was kind enough to rip some really cool stuff. These “artists” make Megadeath, Metallica and Pantera sound like easy listening. This stuff is not for the “under 18″ crowd”.

Evergrey

I finally got my ’63 Valiant running and took it out for it’s first test cruise yesterday, I went around the block and the further I got the more if felt like my right front brake was stuck on, not a big deal… I’ve already dealt with that on the left rear, it was just a stuck adjuster.

Today I had a chance to pop the front drum off and I was right, except it was worse than I thought. Both of my return springs are broken and the parts that “steers” the cable that restricts the movement of…

CPDD logo

I’ve noticed that most of the original parts on my ’65 Dodge Dart were stamped with the CPDD logo. I understand why it would still be on parts that were carried over from the early years, but my taillight lens have the logo and I doubt they were being produced in 1962.

Anyone know why the CPDD logo lasted so long after the DeSoto ceased production?
