….a few shot from Md International (Budds Creek) Mopar meet today. 140 cars just in the car show alone. It was 74° and severe clear there. BTW – the last pic is a 340. When asked how he could do that he said the big boys don’t try hard enough.

Engine issues

So today i took the dart to the power wash to spray down the engine bay after doing so and changing out the starter now the car has a horrid miss. I covered all the ele. components the best i could before the bay was sprayed down. If you give the car any kind of load at all it dies. Such as even trying to accelerate forward or reverse in gear. The car stumbles and dies the car will fire up again but its not running as smooth as it was before i did the spray down. I just changed oil on the car…

318 build opinions please.

My goal here is to get the wife’s 66 into the mid 12’s with a 318.
I am going to keep it as simple, and inexpensive as possible using parts I already have.

I have a freshly rebuilt .040 over 318 shortblock.
Stock height pistons with valve reliefs.
cast crank
The cam is a purple shaft lift 508/508 duration I think is 292/292
Stock mopar adjustable rockers
Windage tray
Double roller timing chain

3.23 Sure Grip 741

Hello gang..I have this 3.23 Sure Grip 741 for sale. It seems to be in very good condition and at the time it was removed from the 69 Dart I owned(2 years ago) it was fine. No slop, no noise. I’m asking $250obo. I really don’t want to ship it and would prefer someone come and get it. I would feel more comfortable if the person who buys it gets the opportunity to check it out in person first. So I will entertain local offers first(I’m located in Torrance, CA) and then move on to my friends here…

I will be the first member to say “I love a good smart-assed bickering between parties”, and hate to see threads closed. I know there are others like me, so I have an idea. How about we let the mods decide when a thread is becoming too risque, or too heated, and then have them put the thread into the “gold” section. Dropping a 340

Hey guys…

I’m thinking of dropping in a ’68 340 in my 273 (Commando v8) equipped ’67 cuda.

Is it a simple transplant? Will all my brackets and power accessories (factory a/c, power steering, radiator, pulleys, etc.) work? Any comments or suggestions?

727 slip yoke from a driveshaft

Anyone need one? I kept one off my 1968 300 driveshaft before I got rid of it. $10 plus shipping. PM me, I see those easier than getting these E-mail notifications.
