It’s time to step up to the plate. I am still running a points ignition set up and want to upgrade to electronic ignition.

I am looking for some recommendations on an ignition setup – soup to nuts – distributor, coil, box, limiters, wires etc….

I have a warmed over 340 – mild cam only – intended use is street with the occasional nostalgia strip run for shits and giggles…

Any feedback positive or negative with your experiences would be welcomed.

I would like to eliminate my 90 degree oil filter adaptor, exactly what parts are required to do this, any seals or gaskets required? I understand that the plate that attaches to the block can be modified for greater flow, is this recommended if so how to??

I have been working away over the wekend, to do a guage conversion very much like the one you did. I have enlarged the openings, and have fitted the guages, and have the wiring issues all figured out. I do have a few questions for you though. I have asked them here instead of by PM as I thought other may be interested.

My first question is in regards to remounting the Bezel after the guage part is removed. How did you accomplish this? It appears to me that the Guage cluster…

i have a stock 69 barracuda hood that is painted b5 blue… paint is about a year old i decided to go with a fiberglass cowl hood instead asking $400 obo

i also have an a-body four speed from a duster that has a scatterproof bell attached for a small block set up asking $600 obo
