OK, I have installed hundreds of Tachs over the years, pretty simple actually, 3 wires (4 for lighting), one to ground, one to 12V switched, and the third (green) to the (-) side of the coil. Can someone please explain to me why I get no tach signal unless I connect it to the (+) side of the coil, very strange. I have also checked it with my diagnostic equip, and I only get the signal from the (+), so that rules out a defective Autometer Tach. Now, it all works fine, but it shouldn’t, so that…

So I finally got the pedals in Tara’s dart and hooked everything up. The z bar isn’t parallel to the fire wall, it’s level but it sits farther back on the engine side. It was a total pain to put the z bar in and required lots of leverage. I do have the half shells in. The angles are not right for the bar that goes from the z bar to the clutch fork. I can use the pedal to engage the clutch but it does not return to the stop. In the pics I did not move the break pedal I used it for reference. The…

I want to get the pulley powder coated but I am not sure if iits just a nut I can twist off or not. Has anyone take one off before?

Also does anyone know if there is a rebuild kit for these federal pumps? I was thinking of having it powder coated also…..may have some more stuff for you Leanna

where do you guys get your oversized valves for the slant six. SI? or the ones on ebay. i dont have an ebay account so i would rather deal with someone i can just order from rather than setting up an ebay account. or even a local place where i can purchase them. thanks.

I need a pair of turn signals for my 71 Duster sharktooth grille. They are the kind that twist in. The ones on my normal grille were connected with 2 screws. Anyone have any they’d sell?
