dumb question i no but im learning. whats best way to tell what gears u have?

hey all- just joined up, might as well make an intro.
The name’s Marty,I live in Drumheller, Ab (about an hour and a half from Calgary) and have a ’73 Scamp- here are a few pics I took a month or so ago

Unfortunately the right torsion bar pulled…

This is for a hurst shifted Dart 833 4 Speed.

Driving home tonight I shifted from 2nd to third and something went wrong. The shifter is in the neutral position and I can’t get it out, the trans is in second still, which is the reason I can’t get the shifter out of the neutral position I would think. The clutch still works to disengage everything, but I can’t shift!

Anyone got any idea as to what went wrong or what I should do?

I have seen many /6 engines given away and thrown away. Never thought I would want one but I am trying to find one in running condition in Colorado or close by. I am hunting the weekends November through December down on the Kansas and Oklahoma border. Easily could make a trip into a little bit of Kansas and Oklahoma.
I am on a budget to get my car running and it is originally a /6 so I can bolt one in and at least drive the car until I can do what I want with it.

Sat. I took my /6 75 dart sport to the drag strip for the first time since last oct. and won the trophy class. MY best pass was a 18.68 at 74.88 mph. beating out several chevies running 12sec. and faster, I even beat a 9sec. crotchrocket. I received numerous thumbs up and cheers from the crowd. I got a special announcement from the announcer on how the little /6 was mowing down the competition. Besides winning, I was happy because I had installed a factory 2bbl., clifford headers with dual…

I’ve posted a question in the steering forum, and no one seems to be able to answer the question………….I’ll try it here……….It’s not really a technical question, but one of “fit”, perhaps from experience……..

I have a 67 Cuda with a column auto…….I want to replace the collars with standard or “floorshift” collars to get rid of the shift indicators…….

My question is, will a *65 Cuda collar fit on a 67 column*, or are they different??

ANYONE know the answer ???
