windshield wiper motor

Ok, I got the new switch wired up correctly and the motor works fine(high/low and park when shut off)….until I actually connect to the wiper arms. When I turn the switch on, the blades will move to the up position and stop. I thought the connecting rods under the dash might be binding so I reached under and moved them a bit forward in their travel path and they go down and back up again to the top and stop again. They do not appear to be binding at all and the motor spins full circle without…

$22,500 frim the only trade I will look at would be a nice Challenger or Cuda.
All factory steel with 0 rust. The top has a slight chop that does not limit the headroom inside.

Tranny/converter questions

I have a 74 Duster with a 318 (bored .40 over) with a Comp Cams Xtreme Energy (XE275HL) cam (Duration at 050″ lift: 231int/237exh). The transmission is a 904.
The 1st problem: The car is up on jack stands currently. When I have the motor running in park it idles fine. When I put it in drive the wheels spin fine. If I apply the brakes, the motor will stall. I have a 71 Duster with a 360, I have added air conditiong from Classic Auto Air. I have 2 electric fans, electric fuel pump, electronic igniton and having problems with low amperage. Trying to adapt 120 amp Dodge Denso from 93 p/u to single pulley water pump system, because air conditiong pulley takes up second spot with adapter from Classic Auto Air.
