Can anyone recommend a battery that has lasted more than a couple years?
I have replaced one of these after 16 months, now the replacement took a shit after 8 more months.
I trickle charge it once a month when not in use.

Helping a friend with a 361.
Engine supposed to be rebuilt. Spun cam with lifters on it, seen they all spun.
Broke the cam in, cut the oil filter, there was a lot of metal in there. Metal is chunky, non magnetic, silver.

I’m helping a buddy with a 64 Dodge 440.
He had a guy bail on him halfway through an engine swap from 318-361, and got the car back with no kickdown linkage.
Does the cable trans use a typical one piece kickdown rod? Or something different?
I haven’t looked at the trans yet, he’s trying to get parts to do the job.

I spent the afternoon at this place today. If you are in FL, this guy has tons of old Mopars. He’s really fair on stuff that’s hard to find too.
