I started a thread on these distributors that went on for quite a while.

But I felt that this issue warranted its own thread.

I put in one of these low cost HEI distributors that I purchased from Skip White performance. ProComp also sells them. I put about 500 miles on it and was pretty happy with the way the car was running and the increased mpg.

Then on the way home, the car just died. Extremely weak and erratic…

I have a 65 Dart. The exterior is Gold Poly. The interior is Pearl White seats with gold carpet. I’m trying to figure out which Legendary carpet color would be the right gold.

Choices are:

32 Gold
33 Dark Gold
46 Ivy Gold
53 Gold Tuxedo
132 Gold
146 Ivy Gold

I got these pictures by email from a salvage yard in Watsonville, CA. It’s too far way from me to go there and pull my own sheet metal so I decided to pass. Plus, I don’t think I could bear to cut up an early-A convertible.

FBO sells an electronic voltage regulator that looks like a stock mechanical regulator.

This is for use with the stock wiring harness on a pre 1970 car. If you have a newer alternator with 2 field connections, just ground one of them.

Looking for relatively straight rust free left front fender. I can deal with dings and small dents but I would like the area around the headlight to be original and straight. I’m near Los Angeles.
