So yesterday, Christmas Eve it was 73 degrees outside here in eastern Pennsylvania. I decided to pull my 1966 Dodge Monaco out of the garage for a run. Looks like another freeze plug may be leaking, I replaced one this spring. That one wasn't bad to get to! I'm guessing it may finally be time to pull the motor and do them all!
I really don't want to rebuild the motor and it actually does run very well and doesn't burn any oil. Its got 95,000 on it with the original heads and I'm pretty sure its never been pulled.
I'm thinking I'll send the trans out since there are leaks on almost every linkage seal and almost no power in reverse when cold. The oil pan leaks, besides the oil pan gasket and freeze plugs anything else I should address while its out?
