Just a thought, I was reading up on how racers years ago (in the 60's, before aftermarket stuff was available) angle milled V8 heads to increase compression, among other advantages. Would it be possible (and still reliable) to angle mill a slant six head enough to convert to a closed tight chamber for quench (with zero deck pistons)? Of course, the manifold side angle would need corrected, also.
This would address one of the features that would be desired in an aluminum head (if one ever...
