I have been reading lots on this conversion and I think I have totally confused.
For my steering column, I was just going to pop the pin on the shift leaver, grind off the bump and paint / powder coat the piece. I will leave the indicator...this what I don't have to buy another column.
For the floor mount shifter. What do I need ? Do I just buy a B&M shifer or some other brand and it will hook up to my 727 w/o any other linkages ?
I like the post where the 4 nuts were welded into place to mount the shifter on..
This sounds too easy..what a I missing ?
