Albuquerque, NM Mopar Fest Car Show

Went out to Albuquerque this past weekend for a decent size Mopar car show - my dad lives there so I took him out to it as part of a Father's Day visit. Overall, there were 85 cars that showed up and who would have guessed, but my Coronet actually won something! It is not a show car at all, but won "B Body Modified" and the O'Reilly Auto Parts "Best Of" award. I really didn't care to win anything - yeah I cleaned it up for the show - but like I said, the interior is still pretty original and it's really not a show car overall. I was very surprised that it beat out a General Lee replica car (which won last year) for that B Body award because that thing was very clean, and I certainly never saw that O'Reilly's award coming because there were some insane cars there - albeit a lot of stock or near-stock restoration type stuff but also some really neat other cars. I could care less about the trophies, but seeing people I don't even know dig the car and my work means something to me.

I've got a bunch of pictures, and I'll just go ahead and post them all here.

Enjoy!
