I have been thinking about installing AC in my streetrod. I am running a 68 340 engine with single belt 68 pulleys and the cast iron water pump. My question is can I adapt this 340 to a Sanden compressor using stock Mopar small block pulleys? If so which pulleys will I need? I know there are several different pulleys that were made for the 340 engines and they changed the water pump and pulleys in 1970. Also I would need compressor brackets. Are there any Mopar stock compressor brackets that would work or would I have to find aftermarket brackets for the compressor? Any ideas on this?
