Hello Everyone! I need some help the decoding an engine block. The information I have is this:
246813012 is stamped on both sides of the block
62868 is stamped toward the front drivers side of the block
It's a 383 that we thought was a 68 build but have been told that in 68 they stamped the VIN on the block. No such stamp. Up front on the distributor pad it reads 383
