Sorry if this seems redundant but I need some help.identifying a transmission.
My father recently.passed and I inherited a 1965 formula S that is in pieces and about 20 percent restored. I have two four.speed transmissions. One came original on the car and my dad marked that transmission well, so I know what goes with the car.
The second transmission is the one in question. I am trying to find out what it came out of and what it may be worth. The numbers stamped are PP833 3448 0093. From what I have read on this forum I think this transmission was built sometime early January of 71. Correct?
The other number which I suspect is the VIN is 1A157962.
Can anyone tell me any more info on what I have. I would hate to sell something rare for a basement price.
I am not sure if this is original to the transmission, but it has the slap stick shifter.
I do not have the input shaft spline count. Yet.
