Has anyone successfully charged a classic auto air system? Their instructions seem to be more to cover their *** than to help. Im trying to charge with a set of gauges, digital scale and a 30lb bottle. The problem is they say not to charge with the engine running and not to use liquid. So I pull 30in vac on the system and try charging with gas. It pulls in a couple ounces then stops. Reading 45psi on high and low. I crank the compressor by hand 30-40 times but it does not help any.
